The SPD event will be at the Police Department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard (see attached flyer for additional local event locations).

TABHAIR FAOI DEARA LE DO THOIL - NÍ GHLACADH SROINGÉIRÍ!

Chomh maith le drugaí a scaoiltear amach ag an imeacht seo, is féidir le saoránaigh drugaí a fhágáil ag an ngabhdán SPD Drug Take Back aon am nó lá den tseachtain. Tá an tseirbhís saor in aisce agus gan ainm.

Is ceist sábháilteachta poiblí iad cógais ar oideas nach dteastaíonn – iad siúd atá sean, nach bhfuil ag teastáil nó nach bhfuil ag teastáil a thuilleadh – agus is minic a bhíonn siad ina gheata chuig andúile. Tosaíonn formhór na n-andúile opioid le pills oideas a fhaightear i gcaibinéid leighis sa bhaile.

Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs when taken without a prescription or a doctor’s supervision. A majority of people who misuse a prescription medication obtained the medicine from a family member or friend.

DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day events are one way to dispose of unneeded medications. For more information on prescription drug
